Novacortiça - Indústria Corticeira, S.A. Cork Factory Tour - Very interesting, informative tour. Our tour guide is very knowledge on the cork industry as well as the production processes. Job well done. We really enjoy the classroom presentation; we also had the chance to touch and look some sample of the raw cork bark/skin. Very good experience and as our guide said we now more appreciate how the cork is made when we open an expensive wine. Highly recommend to people to join the cork farm tour as well. Thanks.

Great tour. Very interesting. Makes you respect the humble Cork more! A bit steep at 12.50 euro each.
The presentation was most informative and interesting, answering all the questions the audience had. The tour itself was a little short as it didn't show some of the steps that would be interesting such as the pressing and the pressure of the press. If this is not feasible then picture brochures would be informative. Also disappointed in not receiving at least a disc with the company logo as a souvenir or even the good, bad, and ugly discs. For promo material, the excellent guide should push to view the souvenir shop. I can imagine not all visitors are aware of the items for sale.
Great tour in a working Factory. Not Very commercial Very good speaking lady. Learnt a lot. Very dusty but on the other cite of the road an authentic bar with cool drinks.
It is a good place to know something about cork from the scrap .The lady giving the explanation is pretty professional in this field and she did gave some great features and descriptions of cork .
A great guided tour that you shouldn't miss in the Algarve!!! Culture & Tradition!! High Technology!! Great product - CORK!!
